• Ed picked up Nik yesterday and took him to the dentist. I picked up Ben from school and we met them there. Nik is scheduled to have his four molars (wisdom teeth) removed on March 7th. Ben and I left before they were finished to the bowling alley to practice before our league games started at 6:30. Ed and Nik went to Applebees for dinner and to talk. Ben bowled a 169 on his first game and I text Ed to let him know. Ed called and informed me that Nik and he are going to the Air Force recruiting office after they eat. Nik wants to join the Air Force. It was our plan for Ed to talk to Nik about joining the Air Force but I wasn't sure if he would do it. I had done a lot of praying the past few days. I mean deep heartfelt praying. Well, Ben and I left the bowling alley and met them at the recruiting office. He will be going to college and his goal is to become an Air Force Chaplin. I am so proud of him!! Words can not describe. I know he is going to do well but I also know that if he makes a career of this, my grandbabies will not be local and that kills me. Ed said that we will just get a RV and travel. Isn't he great.
